It’s one thing to walk away unhappy from a bad lunch date, but it’s not that simple to walk away from a bad real estate deal.   So, we are not convinced that a simple matching app like a dating app will take care of matching buyers and sellers.

But not sure who will manage the disclosures, legal contract and other nasty details that is associated with a typical real estate transaction.

Finding your dream home is a lot like finding the love of your life.

That’s why Casamatic takes a dating-app-like approach to house hunting. The Cincinnati-based company matches house hunters with listings by asking the typical questions like desired location, size and budget. But it also asks more personal questions about your favorite foods and activities and whether you want to live close to family and friends.

It then uses information from sites like Yelp and Foursquare along with home listing websites to find properties specifically tailored to your lifestyle.

The site partners with real estate agents to step in when a user is interested in a home.

The service is currently available in Cincinnati and Chicago, but plans to expand into other markets in 2016.
