picstitchWe just did our 1st Counter-top Refinish with Miracle Method and the results look very clean and impressive.  But the best part of this small kitchen remodel was the speed that  we were able to pull off this project not to mention the cost.

Our options included Granite and Quartz Counter-Tops.  The best prices we could find for these were about $250-300 for each 9 foot slab.  And we needed 4 slabs to finish this project.  The material cost alone using Granite or Quartz was about $1,400!  And the labor costs were $1900.00!

And how much we spent on the Mircale Method for the 3 day project was only $1,550.00!  Yes, the whole projects was completed for about 50% of the cost of the Granite or Quartz with no delays for demolition or touch up paint which was going to be required for this project.

Our conclusions are that if you have fixer upper that you need to flip quickly but want to create a strong 1st impression, refinishing is a very good alternative to create a different impression specially on older homes that are typical of Los Gatos.

Another best use case for Re-finishing is for your rental properties.  Since resurfacing less disruptive, you should be able to install it very quickly.  In our case we were able to use the Holiday break to re-surface the Counter-Tops and re-list the home as a rental very quickly. If we had opted for Granite Counter-Tops, the demo work would have taken at least 1 day and the additional carpentry work that was required would have added more delays for our clients costing them more money in lost rent.

But are we paid spoke people for Miracle Methods now?!  Hardly!  In fact, this is our 1st application and we will be watching how the re-finished surface will survive the expected abuse by tenants in a rental property.

At the mean time, if you are using Miracle Method in your rental properties, we would love to hear from you.  Tell us how the refinished surfaces are performing for you.
