House Plan ipad
We recently reviewed the iphone app for finding rental properties from Lovely, Trulia and Zillow. Now that you have found your dream los gatos home, perhaps it might be a good time to use this iPhone/iPad app to remodel it using an app called House Plans from Millennium Maximums.
The app provides a library of plans and information that allows users to design:
1) Single Family Homes
2) Garages and Workshops
3) Garage with Living Space
4) Gazebo
5) Workshop
6) Barn
7) Shed
9) Accessory Structures
The iPad version of the app was updated more than year ago in 2012 which is not a very good indicator of the developers commitment to add new features. Also, the app itself only creates the floor plans and can NOT be used to creating Lighting, Electrical, Mechanical or any other plans that can be incorporated into the users design.
The app supports iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.1 or later.
With the price of $4.99 the app is not cheap compared to the other Lifesytle apps on the iTune Store, but if you are lacking any other tools to develop a quick and dirty design that you can share ideas with a professional architect, this might not be a bad start. Also, if you have a small kitchen or small bathroom remodels, the app might come handy in terms of layout of cabinets.
